Important Changes – Updates to Applicant Guidelines for the Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP) and the Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) Skills Assessment Program

On this page

The Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP) Applicant Guidelines and Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) Skills Assessment Program Applicant Guidelines have been updated.

These new Guidelines will provide applicants and TRA-approved RTOs with more clearly articulated roles and responsibilities throughout the TRA skills assessment process, which will result in OSAP and TSS assessments being progressed and completed more efficiently and quickly.

The new Guidelines will be effective for all new OSAP and TSS applications lodged from 8 November 2022.

Please ensure you read the relevant Guidelines and program information on the TRA website (www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au) carefully before lodging an application.
