Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) continues to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 in the states and territories.
TRA is aware that government restrictions, put in place in response to COVID-19 outbreaks, may affect employment arrangements for some Job Ready Program (JRP) participants.
If your employer has changed your job conditions due to COVID-19 and you think this may affect your skills assessment please email TRA at jrpenquiries@dese.gov.au. This includes if your workplace has closed temporarily, your employer has reduced your work hours, or you have lost your job.
Please include your full name and TRA reference number in the subject line of your email and provide details for your situation.
If you have applied for a Job Ready Workplace Assessment (JRWA) or have completed enough hours to be eligible for a JRWA, you will be supported to continue through this step of the JRP. Where it is possible, TRA will continue to conduct workplace assessments, noting any current government restrictions which have been put in place.
