Opportunity for free and fast skills assessment for migrants – from 28 February 2022 until June 2023.
The Australian Government is committed to fast-tracking assessments of the skills and qualifications of skilled migrants who are in Australia and are ready to work in priority occupations.
The Skills Assessment Opportunities for Migrants Incentive offers eligible migrants free, fast-tracked skills assessments in priority occupations.
Having your skills assessed as suitable for Australian workplaces will improve your chances of getting a job. Employers will have confidence that you have the skills they need to do the job.
Am I eligible?
To be able to apply for a free assessment you must:
- have not had a skills assessment in the priority occupation
- be living in Australia when you submit your application
- be on a family, partner, refugee or humanitarian visas granted on or after 1 January 2019.
Applicants who receive a not suitable outcome will be referred to relevant training to improve their skills.
