Obtaining a suitable skills assessment is mandatory for some visa applications and may be requested for others. You should read all of the available information about the visa you want to apply for. This will help you to determine if you need to provide a skills assessment and when you need to obtain it. More information is available from the Department of Home Affairs.

A suitable skills assessment may also be required for visa applications under a Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA). The list of current DAMA’s is available from the Department of Home Affairs.
